This is what the punch board looks like. It comes with it's very own embossing tool that slides in the side where you see the notched out half circle for easy storage.
Directions on the punch board helps you decide what size paper you need according to what size card you are making.
My paper is cut at 8 1/8 and my first measurement says to score at 3 3/4.
You will then score your paper. It does not matter if you punch first or score as long as you do them both on this side of the paper.
You will then rotate the paper 90 degrees and do the same steps to that side of the paper. Measure at 3 3/4 .Punch and score for this size envelope.
Your cardstock/designer paper should now look like this. We still need to crease the other two sides.
Now on the two sides that have not been notched yet, you will need to place your paper and the scoreline where this little needle like object is pointing too. The scoreline is hard to see in this photo but this scoreline is from the previous steps we did. So once you line up the needle with your score line, you will punch and score like you did on the other two side. Repeat this procedure on the opposite side.
Crease, Fold, and adhesive! You have some really cute envelopes. They can open from the top or side. My Stampin Retreat guests will be receiving one this weekend with some special treats inside.
The Envelope Punch Board is not in the catalog so here is the number and price.
