Yah, It's time for our next Blog Hop!! The theme this month is Spring has Sprung.
Here is my version of a Happy Spring Card. I love my flower gardens and can't wait to start digging in the dirt and watch those spring flowers start to wiggle their way out of hibernation.

If you would like to make this card, you will need these supplies.
Hardwood Stamp Set
Petal Potpourri Stamp Set
Matching Flower Medallion Punch (Buy the bundle and save 15%)
Crazy about You Stamp Set for the Happy Spring
Petite Petals Stamp Set and coordinating punch
Bird Builder Punch
Smokey Slate embossing powder
Versa Mark Pad
Heat tool
Strawberry Slush Marker
Crisp Cantalope Marker
Sahara Sand ink pad
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Mossy Meadow cardstock for leaves
Pistachio Pudding cardstock for leaves
Natural Ivory for card base

Stamp the assorted flowers with the versa mark pad. Sprinkle the Smokey Slate embossing power over all and shake off excess powder.
Using the heat tool, heat  until all are shiney. Be careful to not rub them unless they have turned to a glossy color.

Next color in your flowers using the markers. The flower shown was colored with the Crisp Cantaloupe in the center and the Strawberry Slush on the outer petals. After I did this flower, I ventured out a little and also put Crisp Cantaloupe throughout the petal also. Look closer at the finish card and you will see how that turned out. I liked that look too.

Next, using the Flower Medallion Punch, I like to place it upside down so you can see your image, punch out your flowers.
The smaller flowers get punched out with the petite petals punch.

Punch out your leaves and stems with the Bird Builder punch using the two coordinating greens.

Using the Sahara Sand, stamp your hardwood stamp on about 3/4 of your very vanilla 4 x 5 1/4 piece of cardstock.

Start layering your flowers and stems to your liking. I used the 2 way glue to attach the stems and leaves since they are quite thin in places.

Stamp your Happy Spring on the bottom. I put both words on one block so I don't have to worry about getting them straight. Attach all to Natural Ivory card base cut at 5 1/2 and 8 1/2.

Hope you have enjoyed this month's card.
Now either hop back or hop forward to see lots more fun creations.
