It is always fun to give a handmade gift for any occasion. As I mentioned earlier, I plan on giving you ideas for the holidays so you too may want to give a gift from the heart. Here I have a sample that could be decorated many ways. You can buy or make the material/ribbon boards. These are great for adding your personal photos on or maybe your selection of handmade cards! This board was used as a wedding gift so maybe the young couple now have their Special Day photos displayed.
Boards like this can be decorated using cardstock and ribbon to match the decor of the room. Stampin' Up! has many stamp sets and sayings to accommodate most any occasion. Our sticky strip or Multi liquid glue works best for these types of projects.

Stamp Set "The Open Sea"
Here are two cards featuring the Stamp Set "The Open Sea"
Wood 128454 for $26.95
Clear 123032 for $18.95
Our stamp sets now come in either Wood or Clear, which means:
1. Wood sets costs a little more but they each have their own block and the stamp remains on that block.
2. Clear sets are less expensive and removable, kind of like the window clings but more durable, and do not come with their own blocks. You would need to purchase the clear blocks separately but they are reusable.
I used Smokely Slate and Sky Blue on the first card and Smokey Slate and Rich Raspberry on the second card.
The Thinking of You stamp is from the Sassy Salutations set sold on page 39,
132070 wood $23.95
126707 Clear $17.95
This is one of the cards we will be making at this week's Stamp A Stack!

Envelope punch board, corner rounder
I forgot to post one more photo for the Envelope Punch board which is one of the best features it has! It also comes with a built in corner rounder. So before you put your envelope together, simply put your paper in the backside of the punch and"presto" rounded corners! Sorry I forgot this photo in the previous post.
Envelope Punch Board item 133774
Stampin Up has introduced a fun new product that I would like to share with you. It is called the Envelope Punch Board and makes a zillion different sizes of envelopes! Ok, maybe not a zillion but it's a lot of them plus other neat things too. Even though the punch board comes with very good directions, if you are like me, photos help it to all sink in. So I will demonstrate how to make a simple envelope. By the way, this is a great way to use up all different sizes of designer paper you might have laying around.
This is what the punch board looks like. It comes with it's very own embossing tool that slides in the side where you see the notched out half circle for easy storage.
Directions on the punch board helps you decide what size paper you need according to what size card you are making.
The button on top, notches the paper.
You will then score your paper. It does not matter if you punch first or score as long as you do them both on this side of the paper.
You will then rotate the paper 90 degrees and do the same steps to that side of the paper. Measure at 3 3/4 .Punch and score for this size envelope.
Your cardstock/designer paper should now look like this. We still need to crease the other two sides.
Now on the two sides that have not been notched yet, you will need to place your paper and the scoreline where this little needle like object is pointing too. The scoreline is hard to see in this photo but this scoreline is from the previous steps we did. So once you line up the needle with your score line, you will punch and score like you did on the other two side. Repeat this procedure on the opposite side.
Crease, Fold, and adhesive! You have some really cute envelopes. They can open from the top or side. My Stampin Retreat guests will be receiving one this weekend with some special treats inside.
The Envelope Punch Board is not in the catalog so here is the number and price.
133774 $19.95

My paper is cut at 8 1/8 and my first measurement says to score at 3 3/4.
