Fun Card that we made in last week's card class.

This card uses the new Blendabilities Markers sold on page 212 of the large catalog. This set is the Daffodil Delight color.
Materials used are:
Very Vanilla
Early Espresso cardstock and ribbon
Hello Honey Designer paper
Small accent punch
Rhinestones

Stamp your image using the Memento pad sold on page 212. The blendable markers are alcohol based so you need to use this ink pad so your color does not bleed. Whisper white or Very Vanilla works best.

Using your darker marker, outline where you would like a darker shadow to be.

Using the lighter marker, make circular motions and fill in. Carefully color where the darker color is. The more you go over the dark color, the darker your whole project will be. These are blendables, they will not leave a stroke mark if that makes sense. These markers also work well on coloring our pearls and rhinstones too!

I used our Woodgrain embossing folder sold on page 227 to add depth to the Early Espress cardstock. You can either use or Big Shot or the Texture Boutique Machine both sold on page 224.

Using our Early Espresso ribbon sold on page 207 and my handy fork, make a perfect bow and attach to the card with our mini glue dots.
Forgot how to make the bow? Just go to the archives and follow the directions.

Yah! Another beautiful card is done to share with a friend!

Enjoy!

Fun new cards with a Work of Art!

We had a fun time at our last Card Class making these cards. There is an awesome set called Work Of Art that is just so fun to use. It is sold on page 165 of the big catalog. It is featured on the center card and the one to the right.

The first card uses the stamp set called Flower Patch which is sold on page 156. The fun part about this set is that it also has a matching framelit set sold on page 230. Stampin Up has sweeten this set for you by making it a bundle so  you can save 15% too. Pricing for that is also on page 156.

Also featured is the background stamp called Hardwood, sold on page 175. These stamps will cover a whole card front. Great for masculine cards that are sometimes hard to create.

We can forget the Designer Paper featured on the center card. This is from our Moonlight Designer Series paper stack sold on page 185. Great for cards or scrapbooking.

Thank you and check back often,
